Cancellation & Subscription Policy
Divergeix Email Analyzer · Last updated: April 19, 2026
Summary
- Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time. Cancellation stops future renewals. The current paid period continues to its end date.
- Cancellation is effective immediately upon confirmation. We do not require any reason.
- No partial refund is issued for the unused portion of the current billing period (see Refund Policy).
1. How your subscription works
When you buy a Starter, Pro, or Business plan, you authorise Razorpay to automatically debit your payment instrument at the start of each billing cycle (monthly or annually). This is called a Razorpay e-mandate and is regulated by the Reserve Bank of India.
RBI mandatory disclosure: Before every recurring charge, Razorpay will send you a pre-debit notification (email or SMS) at least 24 hours in advance. It will show the amount, the debit date, and how to cancel. You do not need to take any action if you want to continue; the charge will happen automatically.
2. How to cancel
Option A — Email us (simplest)
Send an email to
support.divergeix@gmail.com from the address you used at Razorpay checkout, with the subject line "Cancel subscription". We cancel within 48 hours and email you confirmation.
Option B — Razorpay self-serve (via the email we sent you)
Open the welcome / invoice email from Razorpay. Each email contains a "Manage Subscription" link where you can cancel immediately.
Option C — Your bank / UPI app
For cards: use your bank's e-mandate management page to revoke the mandate. For UPI: open your UPI app and cancel the recurring mandate under "Autopay" or "Recurring Payments". This stops future charges even if our systems are slow to process your request.
3. What happens after you cancel
- We send you a cancellation confirmation email within 48 hours.
- You keep paid-plan access until the end of the current billing period.
- At that date, your plan downgrades to Free (3 emails/day, basic features).
- Your user data (preferences, history, etc.) is retained so that if you resubscribe later, you pick up where you left off.
- If you also want your personal data deleted, follow the "Erasure" instructions in the Privacy Policy.
4. Cancellation vs. refund
These are two different things:
- Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not refund what you've already paid.
- Refund is returning money you've paid. Governed by our Refund Policy, which has a 7-day window for new subscribers only.
You can do both, but they are separate requests.
5. Failed payments / involuntary cancellation
If Razorpay cannot collect a renewal payment (card expired, insufficient balance, mandate revoked, etc.), the following happens:
- Razorpay retries the charge up to 3 times per its rules.
- You will be notified by Razorpay and by us.
- If payment ultimately fails, your plan automatically downgrades to Free at the end of the current paid period.
- You can manually restart a subscription at any time from the Pricing page.
6. Changing plans (upgrade / downgrade)
- Upgrade (e.g. Starter → Pro): takes effect immediately. The new plan's price is charged pro-rata for the remainder of the current billing period.
- Downgrade (e.g. Pro → Starter): takes effect at the next renewal. You continue to get Pro benefits until then. Contact support.divergeix@gmail.com to schedule a downgrade.
7. Questions
If you are unsure about anything in this policy, email support.divergeix@gmail.com before cancelling. We'd rather help you get value out of the Service than lose you to confusion.
